A towering monument will be intentionally demolished by its architect?
-But so much treasure was invested to build and sustain it
-It holds memories of accomplishment
-And the process to tear it down will be painful.

Why destroy what is already built?
-It will be a difficult process
-After the last pieces are removed, there will be nothing left
-And what lies beyond is completely unknown.

But the skyline does not feel right
-It is lacking something
-It is deformed
-It is full of perfectly logical strategic accomplishments, and yet somehow strangely hollow.

What will take its place?
-I don’t know.
-I do not know..
-I do not know… and I am afraid.

All that is left is to begin
-So much will be lost
-I feel grief
-I feel anger
-I feel fear
-I feel uncertainty
Still, I press on.
